There are hereby incorporated by reference as if set out fully herein, the zoning regulations adopted by the governing body of the City of Pleasanton, Kansas, as prepared by the city, entitled, “Zoning Regulations of the City of Pleasanton, Kansas.” No fewer than three copies of the zoning regulations, shall be filed with the city clerk to be open for inspection and available to the public at all reasonable business hours.

Said regulations have subsequently been amended by the ordinances enumerated in the history of this section.

(a)   In all zoning districts, loading and unloading space shall be provided off-street and on the same premises with every building, structure or part thereof, hereafter erected, established or enlarged and occupied for goods display, retail operation, department store, market, hotel, mortuary, laundry, dry cleaning, office uses or warehouses, manufacturing or other uses, involving the receipt or distribution of merchandise or materials by motor vehicles.

(b)   The loading and unloading space or spaces shall be so located as to avoid undue interference with public use of streets, alleys and walkways.

(c)   Such vehicular access shall be maintained in good condition and surfaced in such manner as required in Section 14-217 for parking spaces.

(d)   When off-street parking space is used to fulfill this loading and unloading requirement, the latter shall be scheduled so as not to interfere with meeting the parking needs.

There is hereby incorporated by reference, for the purpose of regulating and managing floodplains within the corporate limits of the City of Pleasanton, Kansas, a “Floodplain Management Ordinance.” At least one copy of said Model Floodplain Management Ordinance shall be marked “Official Copy as adopted by Ordinance No. 2057” and filed with the City Clerk to be open to inspection and available to the public at all reasonable hours.
